Figurative Linocuts
A series of linocuts inspired by Eric Berne’s book “Games People Play.” This is a contemplative series on the theme of human sincerity toward one another. We begin playing games from early childhood and continue into adulthood. What games do we choose to play, what do we pay for them, what do we lose, and why do we do it. Can we grow and develop unconsciously while playing? How to visually represent a game, what elements are characteristic and most expressive of it — this is what I ponder while working on these pieces. The series is in progress (2018–2025)
